Uzbekistan National Policy Dialogue on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP)
As part of the EU SWITCH Asia Funded project: Resource Efficiency in Agri-food Production and Processing (REAP), we are organising a ‘National Policy Roundtable on Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP)’ on Tuesday, 14th June 2022 at Bukhara, Uzbekistan, with an aim to prototype policy solution and mechanisms for pressing challenges in uptake of SCP in Uzbek MSMEs.
The policy roundtable focuses on the introduction to the existing SCP policy ecosystem in Uzbekistan, discuss policy gaps and challenges, identify critical challenges, brainstorm on potential solutions and prototype policy solutions/mechanisms to tackle identified challenges.
This policy roundtable will bring together policy makers, governmental bodies, institutions, development organisations, associations, NGOs and MSMEs working in the projects to discuss and elaborate on major challenges & prototype solutions through co-creation methodology with tried and tested policy mechanism design tools. Outcome of the policy roundtable will be documented and circulated to policy makers and governmental ministries for consideration of recommendations in national policies and regulations in the field of SCP for MSMEs.
